'MARKETING' an Introduction

Marketing according to Wikipedia.com is "about communicating the value of a product, service or brand to customers or consumers for the purpose of promoting or selling that product, service, or brand" Simply it is how you communicate the value of your product to your target customers, mainly for the purpose of driving higher sales of your product. But more than that, marketing is about informing customers about the existence of your product. As what Steve Jobs once said "A lot of times people don’t know what they want until you show it to them". And that is the job of marketing you have to exert efforts to reach your potential customer, you have to show them your product. You have to chase them because customers will not chase after you.

One of the ultimate goals of marketing is to achieve customer loyalty. It has a process first you have to tell them about your product, after that you have to use measures to keep them with you. You have to work hard to keep them coming back to you. Because Marketing does not stop in spreading awareness, you have to constantly inform customer that you still exist. That you still provide the product and the value they are looking for.
